Email notifications

Dear FM Crowd bloggers,

I have a nice fix for you. Since now the email notification system should work fine! I spent some time fixing it. If your blog receives a new comment, FM Crowd sends a notification from noreply{at}fmcrowd.com to an email address specified in:

Settings -> General Settings -> E-mail address

Don’t forget you should have the following checkbox enabled to receive notifications:

It’s located in:

Settings -> Discussion

Please contact me in case of any problems by mail or via blog comments.

Team comparison. Q.P.R vs other PL clubs.

Probably you know about my failure in the 6th season of Q.P.R. story. Please don’t forget to participate in poll deciding whether I should continue managing Q.P.R. or not. It’s available in the top right blog’s corner.

Real Madrid – Q.P.R. 1:3

That was the first quarterfinal game in the Champions League. Surprisingly awesome result for us as you see! I didn’t expect to have so much advantage during the game play.

Actually I was frightened before the match because almost every Real Madrid first eleven player has a Worldwide reputation. Moreover, Spanish grand’s defence is the best in La Liga.

But the match has shown great motivation and quality of football by Q.P.R. players. The score could even be larger because of unrealized 100% chances by Oscar and Fierro.

Two Brazilians Douglas Costa and Oscar + Carlos Fierro made the game in attack. They were often unstoppable for Real Madrid defenders.

The only trouble is that Breinburg, the leader of Rangers defence, will miss the next match…

Schalke is beaten… Who’s next?

The German club wasn’t tough one for us. We had serious advantage over Schalke in both matches actually. And, if they were rather lucky in the away game conceding only twice, the home match proved Q.P.R. is stronger at the moment.

Special thanks to central back Breinburg who scored in both matches. Douglas Costa was fabulous in the home game making 4 key passes, 1 goal, 1 assist.

Champions League quarterfinals draw

Here is the draw I have. No luck this time because I got the most difficult opponent. I would prefer to face any other one instead Real Madrid. OK, we’ll see whether Q.P.R. is able to overcome Spanish grand club.
