In few seconds of FA Cup failure

Complicated game against Leeds

We had a confident advantage but managed to concede one middle-distance shot. All goal chances were failed, and on the 75th minute I selected Overload strategy shouting player to Take even more risks.

The game was almost burried together with all my hopes about FA Cup. But Faurlin made an assist from free kick on the last compensated minute, Bjelland scored a vital header organizing a replay match at Loftus Road! Ooooooh!

Why I faced the problems?

In 3 days QPR will play away match against Manchester City. Therefore I set up many backup players against Leeds United.

I want to swear at Yaya Sanogo. He was the most disappointing performer of backups failing a couple of goal chances. I think I should sell him at last.

  1. Presse Don’t sell him he will Be within 3-4 years world class striker. Play him as poacher and give him more gametime in cups vs lower Teams.

in my save he scored 60 goals in50 games for france

    • Development of same players can differ in different FM games. This is why you shouldn’t think Sanogo is going to become a world star in my story

  2. Maybe Sanogo doesn’t play well as a lone striker? He could still become an excellent player so if you do decide to sell, don’t do it cheaply.

    • I think we should wait till my next squad analysis after the season. You will Sanogo is the weakest forward whose progress during trainings is soooo slow.

  3. I dont think selling Sanogo is the right move. HE always has been your 3rd choice striker when you play 1 up front. perhaps he doesn’t play enough to get enough match practice with the tactics to become used to them? If i remember in season 1 he played quite a bit until injured and scored a few so perhaps he just needs more time on the pitch?

Looking at the match stats i would say Scott Brown is your biggest issue. Only starting player to be caught offside (twice), same amount of shots as Sanogo, very low ground covered. Looks to me like he just sits on the side and waits for the ball before trying to do it all himself. I would sell quickly.

    • Scott Brown doesn’t play stably. But sometimes he’s more efficient than Verratti in attacks. Moreover, he is able to be a decent right winger in case of many injuries.

Yaya Sanogo is the 4th stirker actually. Remember I bought Carlos Fierro? Anyway there will be squad review and analysis after the 3rd season. I will post Sanogo attributes, and you will agree with me most likely :)

  4. There’s few better feelings than equalizing in the last few minutes of a cup tie!

I’m sure your true first team will be able to defeat Leeds.
